Join Team Colon Cancer Challenge (CCC) for the 2024 United Airlines NYC Half Marathon and experience New York City like never before! The 2024 United Airlines NYC Half Marathon brings together a diverse field of runners from the New York City area and beyond.

As a member of Team CCF you have an opportunity to transform lives in a direct and meaningful way. Each member of Team Colon Cancer Challenge has pledged to Make Their Miles Count by raising funds to support the Colon Cancer Foundation’s mission of a World Without Colorectal Cancer.

The Colon Cancer Foundation has been working in New York City since 2003, raising awareness of colorectal cancer, funding screening programs for the uninsured, and providing much needed funds to young investigators who are committed to finding a cure for colorectal cancer.

According to the American Cancer Society there will be 151,030 new diagnoses and 52,580 deaths from colorectal cancer in the U.S. in 2022. When you join Team CCC you join the fight against colorectal cancer and help us spread the word that this disease is preventable, treatable and beatable with early and on-time screening.

Why We Do What We Do

The Colon Cancer Foundation launched Team CCC in 2010 to:

Encourage colorectal cancer survivors to incorporate exercise into their everyday lives as a way to significantly reduce the rate of recurrence.

Provide a grassroots opportunity for colorectal cancer survivors and their family members to raise awareness and funds for colorectal cancer in their community, and offer those who have lost a loved one to colorectal cancer a positive and effective channel for their rallying cry against colorectal cancer.

Team CCC has raised more than $1,363,107 in support of efforts to raise awareness of colorectal cancer and the importance of early screening, prevention, and research.

Fundraising

Guaranteed entry into Team CCC is based on the ability to meet the minimum fundraising requirement of $1,750 by March 1, 2024. We have never had anyone fall short of their fundraising obligations and we are here to help you reach your personal goals.
