You Can Help End Colorectal (Colon) Cancer

Help raise awareness about colorectal cancer (CRC) screening and save lives! Help us spread the message on CRC prevention and provide access to at-home screening tests that can detect it early. Testing saves lives, BUT(T) only if people get tested!

What To Know About Colon Cancer

  • March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month
  • Colon cancer is also called colorectal cancer
  • CRC is one of the most preventable of all cancers BUT(T), 7/10 CRC patients don’t show symptoms. Regular screenings play a big role in prevention, especially if you do not show symptoms
  • CRC is the 2nd leading cause of cancer death in the United States BECAUSE
    • 1 in 3 Americans, even those with insurance, are NOT screened when recommended
  • CRC is not an senior white man’s disease. It affects:
    • Men and women
    • All races
    • All age groups
  • CRC is a leading cancer killer of young men and women aged 20-49! **
  • African Americans are 20% more likely to get CRC and 40% more likely to die from it
  • REMEMBER! Screening starts at 45 years if you are at average risk (no symptoms or family history of CRC)

Turn This Knowledge Into Passion and Action!

  • CRC stops for nothing – not even a global pandemic like COVID-19 – and neither should we!
  • Multiple screening options are available, including at-home tests
  • We can have “The Talk” with friends, family, and co-workers before it’s too late.

We can create a new normal for CRC – have “The Talk” at a much younger age and Get Screened ON TIME.
